I’m a Swedish massage therapist and wanted to add more to my repetoire. I’m very happy with this workshop. Vivian is an excellent teacher, one of the best I’ve encountered in my 8 years in the massage field. She is attentive, skilled and dedicated. I learned alot. I’ve offered a few Thai massage to my clients already and they love it! Thank you! Will recommend.
I participated in the Thai massage level 1 A workshop and it was completely worth it. I learned alot in 3 days. I have no previous massage experience, but i’ve come out with a great touch. Vivian is a strict and astute teacher, she catches our mistakes and was very patient and dedicated to correcting us. Thanks Vivian … I’m certain I’ve become great at giving better massages because you showed me how.
I have taken the The Massage Academy Level 1 & 2 with Vivian. After doing some Google searching, I was super excited that Bodhi was the only place offering training available on a weekend. This course was conveniently split into two weekends while all other options would require me to take a week off work. I also liked the fact that I could dip my feet and take only 1 portion to see how I liked it before committing to the entire course. This left me with more ease, and flexibility. Vivian was an amazing leader and teacher. She helped make everyone feel welcome and having a smaller class setting made this hands-on experience much more enjoyable. Vivian was able to give more attention to her students as needed. Vivian is also very successful in her line of work. Her knowledge & skills were very prominent throughout the course. She is kind but direct & ensures that you are doing everything properly in order to succeed & keep your own body feeling safe & good while you are massaging. You will have great laughs, and learn so much with Vivian! She is confident in what she does, & so very helpful in making sure you succeed. This course was beyond my expectations. I learnt so much content and felt very ready to start Thai Massage on my own right away. Vivian is always there to help even after the course is over! The course outline was easy to follow, and very informative. Would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is interested in expanding their knowledge or taking a new direction in life. This is the BEST place to get an authentic Thai massage! Vivian, the therapist I had, was amazing – better than the ones I’ve tried in Montreal or Thailand. I think what made the difference was the massage was designed to my needs and incorporated alot more stretching than the typical Thai massage sessions I’ve received elsewhere. She knew exactly where my knots were and the pressure was perfectly adjusted to what I needed. My entire body and problem areas were completely free from tension … I have never felt so good after a massage! I even bought a package! I highly recommend this place – definitely worth going!
Wow, what a wonderful experience! If you’re a fan of Thai Massage you will love it !!! Vivian is truly an expert ! She is professional and friendly (good sense of humour). She is very intuitive and was able to find and release all my back, arms and legs tensions. She knows where to work on using perfect pressure and her entire body. The combination of acupressure, trigger point therapy, reflexology, rhythmic compressions and assisted stretching, left my muscles warm and relaxed. I went home and took a hot epson bath, paradise on earth!!! I highly recommend you to try The Massage Academy… Thanks Vivian.
